today i went on a 'get lost' drive along tracks through the state forest
and beyond...
i came across a site that looks like it may be a new housing development
in progress near Lake Cooroibah,
complete with it's own man-made body of water
i'm sure it was much more beautiful before.

for old cars...
though it will be harvested for organ donations :)

'noosa non-beach'
the tides and winds connected with the recent cyclone have left main beach, noosa
somewhat naked...
and a LOT smaller than it was a mere fortnight ago.
it looks to me like almost 6ft of sand has disappeared all the way along...exposing the rocks and turning dunes into mini-cliffs.
i wonder where all that sand ends up...
