the ancient guinea fowl patriarch
had breathed his last.

i buried him here in the garden

'irony'

smoke alarms may save lives,
but
this signpost took one...

a father of 13 was killed when the caravan he was towing
jack-knifed and slammed his car into the smoke-alarm signage
last year.

i was actually surprised to see the sign replaced...

i have been taking shots of 'memorials' as my final portfolio submission
for my university unit
(just in case you were wondering why all the gravestones/depressing stuff hahaha)
